Our Story
Where it all started
Keegan and Brenda started experimenting with growing strawberries hydroponically in the summer of 2010. Using a home-built system to keep a low budget, we grew strawberries, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce. The project was a huge learning curvé and we made many mistakes. We were growing produce in a completely different way than what we were accustomed to and we took lots of notes. We talked to other growers as well as professors trying to learn as much as we possibly could. We would take the produce to the local farmers market to set and a few restaurants. In 2012 we purchased our first commercial system after making several homemade versions. We also bought the first used greenhouse that we took down and put back up and is still in use today. In 2016 we purchased a greenhouse that was about 8000 sq ft and we moved it to a site that is now the home to Morning Harvest Produce. In 2020 we purchased an additional 12000 sq ft of greenhouse space as well as built our first building.
From humble beginnings in 2010, we've
honed our expertise in the processes and
methods of hydroponically grown lettuce
and herbs. We're very proud to be supplying
your local community with our fresh produce.
Thank you for your support!
